Today I had chicken rice and ice-cream on normal bakery’s waffle.
Today I finished the 4th and final VCD of the extended version of Fellowship of the Ring (by the waaay, by the way, I find it boring and sometimes draggy, action scenes also not cool..not cool :/ ).
But I don’t think you want to know all those.
What you’d probably be more interested to know is that I hung out with 2 of my 10 years old cousins this evening.
I played swings and soccer with them at a small playground and the grass patches at the park opposite my uncle’s house. We went up when it’s dinner time and then went down again to get some sweets and ice-cream. So we sat at the bench next to the playground, eating our ice-creams and sweet, chatting, and reading the TODAY newspaper I got from 7-11 while they played on the swings. It felt like they were my kids..lol
So we walked back after they raced each other around the place once. My mom was watching this Channel 8 9PM drama series show which aimed to raise awareness about AIDS. And then my boy cousin asked, “How do you get AIDS?”
I was already sniggering silently at the computer and conveniently pretend I didn’t hear it so my mom had to answer him, but not before my girl cousin pipped, “I know I know!” I O.O inside my head while my mom was still trying to put it across him in a PG way.
In the end, with my help, we told them AIDS can only be spread through the exchange of blood, and not through saliva blah blah..and that you should just keep to one partner. I hope they got the right message..lol
That’s one of the reasons why I like hanging out with kids. They say and ask things which tickles me.
